Where it started
Most of my working week is spent with international families and the agents who introduce them to me. I teach their children and write the progress reports their parents read. Over the last five years I've worked with more than 40 education agents and with families in many countries, a lot of them in China and the Gulf.
So when I write for you, I already know the people you're writing to.
I know what an agent needs to see before they'll put your name in front of a family and what a parent in Shanghai or Dubai is looking for when they read about a tutor. Your copy is written with those readers in mind from the first draft.
MY BACKGROUND
I’ve spent my career reading and writing for families
Before I started my own business, I spent twenty years in schools, including as Head of English. A big part of that job was writing to parents and I learned how much a family reads into a single letter about the school behind it. I've also worked as an examiner, so I've spent a long time reading writing closely and judging what makes it clear and persuasive. I studied at a Russell Group university and went on to take postgraduate qualifications in English and in creative writing.
I also write children's novels. Children stop reading the moment a story loses them, so I cut anything that slows the reader down. I bring that same care to every post, email and newsletter I write for you.
