THE EXPANSION CODE

The Expansion Code is a six-week strategic programme for female tutors and edupreneurs ready to work successfully and sustainably in premium, international markets.

It’s designed for women whose businesses already function, who are capable and often confident, but who know there is more leverage, scale and alignment available than their current model allows.

Why the Expansion Code exists

I see a very specific pattern with experienced tutors.

They are good at what they do. Often excellent.
They’re trusted locally, sometimes oversubscribed and they’ve built a reputation through care, consistency and results.

What they haven’t always had access to is a clear understanding of:

  • How international markets actually work

  • How agents and referral ecosystems think

  • Why some tutors become highly referable and others don’t

  • How premium positioning functions outside the UK mindset

  • What needs to change structurally for international work to be sustainable

So they either:

  • Stay local longer than they need to

  • Under-price internationally without realising it

  • Default to 1:1 work because it feels safest

  • Or assume international expansion requires hustle, scale or a personality transplant

The Expansion Code exists to close that gap before execution, scaling or long-term mentoring.

It prepares you to operate competently and credibly in premium international contexts, without guesswork.

“Thank you so much for today's strategy session. Things feel so much clearer and I have a sense of purpose - along with a to-do list, which is something you know I love!

You're brilliant at helping me firm up my ideas and understand what I need to do to go from concept to reality.

After today's 1:1 and last week's group strategy session, I'm feeling super motivated and optimistic. Thank you!"

What you will actually gain

Agents and international families are not buying enthusiasm.

They are buying reduced risk.

The Expansion Code teaches you how to position yourself accordingly.

By the end of six weeks, you will:

  • Understand how premium international tutoring markets differ from UK/local ones

  • Know where your expertise fits internationally (and where it doesn’t)

  • Be able to articulate a clear niche that makes sense to agents and families

  • Understand how agents assess trust, risk and value

  • Know which offer models travel well internationally and which don’t

  • Have clarity on group vs 1:1 vs leveraged models for your personality and life

  • Price with cultural awareness, not guesswork

  • Stop defaulting to over-delivery as a credibility strategy

What we cover over six weeks

Each week is practical, specific and cumulative.

This is not content for content’s sake.

Week 1: Understanding the International Landscape

You’ll learn:

* How international tutoring markets actually function

* The difference between direct-to-parent and agent-led work

* Why UK assumptions often don’t translate

* Where most tutors misjudge demand, value and readiness

Outcome: you understand the playing field and your realistic entry points.

Week 2: Niche, Specialism and Refer-ability

This week focuses on:

* Why a niche matters more internationally than locally

* How agents decide who to refer

* The difference between being good and being referable

* Positioning your expertise so it’s easy to recommend

Outcome: you can clearly articulate what you do, who it’s for and why you without sounding generic.

Week 3: Pricing and Cultural Nuance

We look at:

* How pricing is interpreted across cultures

* Why under-pricing damages trust internationally

* How to price without apology or over-explaining

* Setting boundaries that signal professionalism, not rigidity

Outcome: you price in a way that feels confident, culturally aware and commercially sound.

Week 4: Offers That Travel

This week tackles:

* Why 1:1 isn’t always the strongest international model

* Group, hybrid and semi-leveraged offers that work across borders

* Containment vs availability

* Designing offers that protect your time and energy

Outcome: you understand which models suit you and which ones quietly cap your growth.

Week 5: Working With Agents (Properly)

We focus on:

* How agents assess tutors

* What builds long-term trust

* Common mistakes tutors make when approaching agents

* Professional boundaries, expectations and communication

Outcome: you understand how to engage with agents as a professional peer, not a hopeful applicant.

Week 6: Integration and Forward Strategy

We pull everything together:

* How your positioning, pricing and offers now align

* What your next strategic moves should be

* What not to do next

* How to avoid slipping back into old habits

Outcome: a clear, grounded plan for your next phase.

How the coaching works

Coaching & support

The Expansion Code is live, applied and deliberately focused.

Over six weeks, you’ll be supported through a combination of live group coaching, practical teaching and real-time guidance so that what you learn actually translates into decisions and action.

Here’s what that looks like:

Weekly live group sessions (75 minutes)

Each session combines strategic teaching with live discussion and Q&A. We focus on the practical realities of operating in premium and international contexts, not theory.

Weekly hot seat support (in our private community group)
You’ll have the opportunity to bring real situations into the room: pricing, offers, agents, positioning and next steps and get direct, nuanced feedback.

Implementation & decision support

Throughout the six weeks, you’ll have access to structured email support and a private resource folder, where you can bring real decisions, questions and drafts for feedback.

A final note

This programme does not promise overnight success.

What it gives you is competence, orientation and credibility.

So that when you do expand, internationally or otherwise, you do it well.

“I did it! I shared my prices with complete conviction, talked through the pitch deck we did in our last session and they've paid in full for the 3 month package. Can't quite believe it. I feel like I'm finally charging what I dreamed I'd be able to but never actually thought would become a reality! So grateful to you for pushing me into my uncomfortable zone - it was totally worth it and now I'll be able to do it again with more confidence. Thank you.”
